1. General
The protection of your privacy is of great importance to us. We therefore process your personal data exclusively in accordance with the relevant legal provisions, in particular the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) and – where applicable – the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In this privacy policy, we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on our website www.anandashakya.com.
2. Policy: No collection of personal data
On this website, we collect, store and process no personal data for tracking, analysis or advertising purposes. No tracking tools, no analytics software (such as Google Analytics, Matomo or Facebook Pixel) and no advertising cookies are used.
We process your data only if you actively contact us (e.g. by email, telephone or via the contact form) or if you expressly consent to the embedding of external content (e.g. Google Maps, see section 8).
3. Hosting in Switzerland
This website is hosted on servers in Switzerland. No data is transferred to servers abroad. Consequently, all technical data generated in connection with the operation of the website is subject exclusively to Swiss data protection legislation.
Hosting provider: Metanet
4. Server log files
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure secure and stable operation, our hosting provider may automatically collect information that your browser transmits to the server (so-called server log files). This may include:
- IP address (usually anonymised)
- Date and time of access
- Page accessed
- Browser type and operating system
- Referrer URL
This data is not combined with other data sources and is used solely for technical security and stability purposes. It is deleted after a short period of time.
5. Fonts (Google Fonts – embedded locally)
This website uses fonts that originally come from Google Fonts. However, these fonts are stored locally on our server and are loaded directly from there. No connection is made to Google’s servers. In this context, no data is transmitted to Google and no cookies are set.
6. Cookies and consent
We do not use any tracking or marketing cookies. We only use cookies that are technically necessary for the operation of the website (e.g. to save your language settings or your cookie preferences). These cookies do not contain any personal data for tracking purposes.
External content such as Google Maps (see section 7) will only be loaded once you have given your explicit consent via our cookie notice. Until you give your consent, no data will be transmitted to the relevant third-party providers. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies in your browser.
7. Google Maps
On this website, we embed maps from the Google Maps service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to show you our location and make it easier to find directions.
Google Maps is only loaded after your consent. If you consent to the integration, a connection to Google's servers is established. In particular, the following data is transmitted to Google:
- IP address
- Browser type and operating system
- Page accessed (referrer)
- Where applicable, location data, provided you have enabled this in your browser
This may result in your data being transferred to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We have no influence on further processing by Google.
Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
The legal basis for processing is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or Art. 31 (1) revFADP).
8. Google Search Console
We use the Google Search Console provided by Google Ireland Limited to understand how our website is displayed in Google Search (e.g. which search terms lead users to our website). The Search Console is not an analytics or tracking tool in the traditional sense – it does not set any cookies on our website and does not collect any personal data from visitors to this website. Only aggregated data is evaluated, which Google collects anyway as part of displaying search results.
9. Contact
If you contact us by email, telephone, contact form or via other communication channels, the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, telephone number, content of your message) will be stored for the purpose of processing your request and for any follow-up communication.
This data will not be passed on to third parties and will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the purpose of the request or to fulfil statutory retention obligations.
10. Appointments / Treatments
When you book an Ayurvedic treatment, massage, consultation or cooking class, we collect the data necessary for carrying out the appointment (e.g. name, contact details, and where applicable health-related information as part of the anamnesis). This data is treated confidentially, used exclusively for the purpose of the treatment, and stored in compliance with professional confidentiality. It will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
11. External Links
Our website may contain links to external third-party websites. We have no influence on their content or data protection practices. The respective provider or operator is always responsible for the content of linked pages.
12. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS (SSL/TLS).
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time to adapt it to changes in the legal situation or to changes in our services and data processing. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
